The Lemon Test provides guidance for lawmakers to ensure that they do not violate the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment. Suppose that your public high school would like to teach a Comparative Religions course as a social studies elective. Explain one or two of the activities that could be present in the course in order to present an authentic experience that would be permissible and also discuss one or two of the activities that would violate the Establishment Clause.
